HOSTANDO TERMS OF USE
for property management companies and their users
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Who we are
Hostando is provided by IOANNIS DIMITRIOS MATHIOUDAKIS, son of Georgios, a sole proprietorship trading as “STACKNUP”, Tax Identification Number (ΑΦΜ) 159559260, Rethymno Tax Office, General Commercial Registry (ΓΕΜΗ) number 196997650000, based in Erfoi, Rethymno, postcode 74052 (hereinafter “STACKNUP” or “we”). Contact: info@stacknup.com; support: support@hostando.com.
“Customer” means the company or professional that uses Hostando for its business. “User” means any person to whom the Customer gives access (employees, associates). Owners, guests and contractors who open a link or a page that the Customer sends them use Hostando on the Customer's behalf.
2. The service
Hostando is an online application (SaaS) for managing holiday accommodation: owners and agreements, properties and prices, reservations, cleaning, communication with guests, owner settlements and payments, cost control and reports. The service evolves: we may add, change or withdraw features. We do not remove a feature that the Customer makes substantial use of without notifying the Customer in good time.
3. Accounts and access
- Each User has their own personal account. Passwords are not given to anybody else.
- The Customer decides which Users have access and with which permissions, and is responsible for what they do within its account. Hostando records every action with the name of the person who performed it.
- The Customer notifies us immediately if it suspects that somebody has entered its account without permission.
4. The Customer's data
Whatever the Customer enters or imports into Hostando (owners, properties, reservations, guests, documents, photographs) belongs to the Customer. The Customer is the controller of the personal data it contains; STACKNUP processes that data only on the Customer's behalf, in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement we sign with the Customer. The Customer ensures that it has a lawful basis for the data it enters and that it has informed the people the data concerns.
When the cooperation ends, the Customer may obtain a copy of its data, after which the data is deleted, as the Data Processing Agreement provides.
5. What Hostando checks and what remains with the Customer
Hostando calculates, compares and flags: it shows, for example, where an amount that came from a channel or from another system differs from its own calculation. It never changes an imported amount on its own. Decisions remain with the Customer: prices, accepting reservations, payments to owners and third parties, tax returns, invoices and receipts. The Customer checks the amounts before paying or declaring them.
6. The digital assistant (Ando)
Hostando includes a digital assistant that answers questions and suggests actions based on the Customer's data. The assistant does nothing on its own: every action it suggests appears as a card and is carried out only when the User clicks it. Its answers may be wrong or incomplete; the User checks them before relying on them. To answer, the assistant sends the relevant data to an artificial intelligence provider, as described in the Data Processing Agreement. The assistant stays switched off until that agreement is signed; the Customer decides which of its departments use it and can switch it off at any time. Hostando does not store the text of the questions and answers.
7. Acceptable use
The Customer and its Users do not:
- use Hostando for an unlawful purpose or to send unsolicited messages;
- enter data for which they have no lawful basis;
- attempt to bypass security, to view another Customer's data, or to deliberately overload the service;
- copy, decompile or resell the software, or make it available to third parties as their own service.
8. Charges
Charges, the trial period and the payment method are set out in the offer or the contract that the Customer accepts. If an amount owed remains unpaid for 30 days after a written reminder, we may restrict access to read-only until it is paid. The Customer's data is not deleted because of late payment.
9. Availability and support
We aim for 99% availability each month, excluding scheduled maintenance, of which we give notice in advance when it lasts longer than a few minutes. Support is provided at support@hostando.com on working days and during working hours, with a reply within one working day. We keep daily backups.
10. Third-party services
Hostando connects to third-party services (e.g. channel managers, booking channels, banks, email and payment providers). Their operation is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for an interruption or an error in a third party's service, but when a connection fails Hostando shows it, so that the failure is not lost silently.
11. Intellectual property
The software, design, texts and trademarks of Hostando belong to STACKNUP. The Customer has a right of use for as long as the cooperation lasts, not ownership. The Customer's data remains the Customer's own (section 4). We may use in the product the suggestions and comments for improvements that the Customer gives us, without disclosing the Customer's data or information.
12. Liability
STACKNUP is liable for wilful misconduct and gross negligence. Otherwise, and to the extent the law permits, our total liability is limited to the amount the Customer paid in the last twelve (12) months, and we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect damage. This limitation does not apply to a breach of the Data Processing Agreement to the extent that the law does not permit a limitation.
13. Suspension and termination
We may immediately suspend the access of a User who breaches section 7 or puts security at risk, and we inform the Customer immediately. The duration and termination of the cooperation are set out in the contract or the offer; where there is none, either party may end it with one (1) month's written notice.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a material change we notify the Customer at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect; if the Customer does not agree, it may end the cooperation before the change takes effect, at no cost.
15. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Rethymno have jurisdiction over any dispute, after an amicable settlement has first been attempted.
