USER DATA DELETION

how to ask for your data to be deleted from Hostando

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who can ask

  • A user of Hostando (an employee or associate of a company that uses it), for their account. The same goes for anybody who asked us for a demo or wrote to support, for what they sent us.
  • A company that uses Hostando, for its data.
  • A guest or an owner of such a company. Your data is entered by the company that serves you, and that company is the controller: please contact it first. If you write to us, we will forward your request to the company.

2. How

Email info@stacknup.com from the email address of your account, so that we know the request is yours, and say what you want deleted. For a company, the request is sent by its administrator.

We delete a user's account in consultation with the user's company, because the company decides who has access.

3. What is deleted and what we keep

  • For a user: the account and the details we keep about them, as the privacy policy describes. The same for a demo request or messages to support.
  • For a company: everything it entered into Hostando (owners, properties, reservations, guests, documents, photographs) and its users' accounts. Before the deletion, the company can obtain a copy of its data.
  • What the law requires us to keep: invoices, payments and tax records, for as long as tax law requires.
  • Backups: the daily backups of the database roll over, and older ones are erased within seven (7) days. From the separate copy of photographs and documents, we erase your data together with the deletion.

4. When

Within one month of your request. We reply to the same email address when it is done.

5. WhatsApp

A company that has connected its WhatsApp number to Hostando can disconnect it at any time, under Settings → Our numbers, with the Disconnect button. Hostando then deletes the access it held for that number (the access token) and can no longer send messages from it.

Messages already delivered stay with their recipients and with WhatsApp, under Meta's terms.
