This villa is absolutely brilliant for young families. The pool is amazing, with a maximum depth of about 1.1m in the middle and with a beach-feel gradual descent into the water. Our girls (aged 7 and 4) loved it. The whirlpool and coloured lights in the evening also make it feel like a really premium pool. There’s also a huge terrace area with high quality sunbeds which my girls spent most of our stay scooting around.
Inside the villa is really spacious. There were only five of us but with a few sofa beds on top of the three double rooms you could easily fit 8-10 (although it’d be a bit of a squeeze with 10, maybe). There’s really high-end fixtures and fittings and Francesco has done a great job of making the place feel luxurious.
The location is good – it’s about 7 minutes walk (downhill) to the nearest beach beside a beach bar; if you want sunbeds however you’ll have to walk c20minutes to the other side of Fontane Bianche to the Lido. It’s a great base for exploring the southern part of the island. It’s 20minutes drive to Siracusa and places like Noto are also within easy reach.
All in all an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Sicily.
