How can I register my property on Hostando?
To register your property, go to “Register as Host” in the main menu, create an account and enter all the necessary information about your property. Once approved, you can start receiving reservations.
How can I manage the reservations received?
You can view all reservations in your Dashboard. For each reservation, you will find detailed information about the guests, dates of stay, and amount paid. You will also be able to approve or reject reservations.
How are the earnings from my property paid?
Guests pay directly on the platform and the funds are automatically sent to your Stripe or PayPal account. If you prefer, you can also receive a wire transfer. As an administrator, the platform retains a commission (e.g. 10%) on the total booking amount.
Can I change the price of my property?
Yes, you can change the price per night, add surcharges for extra guests, and configure discounts for long stay periods or special offers. Go to the “Rate Management” section to make changes.
How can I establish cancellation policies?
You can choose from several cancellation policies, such as free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival, partial refund or no refund. The platform allows you to select the option that best suits your needs.
Can I cancel a reservation?
If necessary, you can cancel a reservation, but we encourage you to do so only in exceptional circumstances. Cancellation policies can affect your reputation, so use this option with caution.
How can I manage the reservation calendar?
Your property’s calendar automatically updates with each reservation received. You can still set periods of availability or unavailability manually, and block off specific dates for any commitments or maintenance.
How can I make sure payments are secure?
The Hostando platform uses the secure payment systems of PayPal and Wire Transfer, which protect both guests and hosts against fraud or unauthorized transactions.
Can I offer discounts or special offers?
Yes, you can create special offers, long-stay discounts or other promotions directly in your Dashboard. You can also set a special price per night during holidays or low season periods.
How can I solve a problem with a guest?
If you have a problem with a guest, you can contact them directly through the platform messaging. If the situation is not resolved, you can open a report to our customer support.
How can I change my personal information?
You can update your personal information, such as email, phone number and password, by going to My Account > Settings.
How does the assessment of properties and guests work?
After each stay, both guests and hosts can leave a review. Reviews will help other users make informed choices. Positive reviews increase your property’s visibility in search.
